About Francesca Jourdan
Since I was child my passions were sport and motors. I did swimming competitions for 10 years and this has meant that I learned to combine school and training right away. The passion for motors together with the predisposition to scientific disciplines has taken me to choose an engineering faculty for my studies. I have studied a Master of Sciences course in Automotive Engineering (Vehicle System Development branch) at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Having been part of one #ShellEcoMarathon team and one of #formulaSAE, I have hands-on experience with some CAD/CAE tools (CATIA, Hyperworks.) and with simulation software as Amesim. I think these experiences were unique not only for the knowledge learned but above all for the several prototyping and manufacturing processes that I could be familiar with. More importantly, I had the possibility to face myself both technical and organizational challenges and this is what excited me.
