About Francesca Lara

The COVID-19 pandemic, has inspired me to educate and advocate for seniors, residents and our aging population. This experience has shown many different perspectives on how society works, acknowledges and advocates with seniors today, whether that be in local, regional and global environments.I love thinking of creative and innovative ideas to enrich the lives of seniors, with ongoing projects, holistic approaches and cultural events/education. I continuously work towards to progress how we care for our vulnerable community members. Whether that be through new recreation ideas, fundraising and gaining resources, community outreach, education and networking to support a resident-centered circle of care. Working with the aging population has been a rewarding experience in my life. Although challenging at times, this motivates me to further understand how we can all better help and understand to advocate for seniors and healthcare workers.
