About Francesca M.

Self-driven and committed to working with and for people, I am passionate about people's health and wellbeing. Throughout the years, I have positively impacted numerous lives and improved people's outcomes. 🩺 People have always been at the center of what I do and work for. From volunteering in the social field when I was only a teenager, I then became a Nurse and strived to provide the best quality care to my patients, specializing in Non-Invasive Ventilation, Respiratory Medicine and High Acuity Care, growing into a highly skilled professional and becoming a Senior Nurse and team leader. I've then developed an interest in Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance, and started this journey as a Medical Information Specialist in a leading global Life Science company. I am also a Training Specialist and delighted to implement educational plans and deliver trainings across the whole project, in an interactive and inclusive way. Finally, as the Team Leader for the Quality Control (QC) Coordination Team, I oversee the QC process for the whole Project and minimize Standard Deviations, as well as analyze quality metrics, and identify areas of improvement. Throughout the various experiences, I`ve been a role model and a team leader, an effective communicator, I`ve been a mentor and provided trainings, I've cooperated within multidisciplinary international teams, I've demonstrated resourcefulness and resilience in challenging situations, and I've always been enthusiastic and proactive, eager to grow and to foster change. In the past few years, I have lived in 4 different countries, which required both independence and adaptability, and which allowed me to be in a stimulating, multicultural environment at all times. Passion for my job, empathy, cooperation and interdisciplinarity, excellence in practice and efficiency, critical thinking, have been guiding me throughout my career. The time I volunteered with refugee minors in Greece was not only extremely meaningful and formative, but it also led me to focus more on human rights, equity and solidarity.
