About Francesca Margiotta

I am a passionate and hard-working Travel and Tourism professional with over 30 years of experience gained in various roles within international organizations, used to fast-paced and very competitive working environments. In MIKI Travel, a major wholesale travel provider, I covered different roles in my 25 years career between London and Tokyo, and in my last position as Department Manager, I built and led a multicultural, top-performing team of more than 15 individuals. I handled high Volume Series of Japanese Tours coming to Europe and was in charge of the operation of all series groups to Italy, France, Germany, Eastern Europe, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Scandinavia. Excellent knowledge and experience of the Japanese Market but also worked with other Far East and European Markets, I dealt with all main European destinations throughout my career developing a very enthusiastic approach to products and destination management, especially for Italy, my beloved home country. So, after many years living abroad, I have recently decided to relocate to my hometown of Turin, and I am now excited to find a new role in the Tourism Incoming industry where I can demonstrate all the experience, competencies, and enthusiasm I have gained over my long career in the field.
