About Francesca Pitfield

Assistant Psychologist in the Psychosis Recovery Team, Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership Trust. Aspiring Clinical Psychologist. I graduated in 2022 with a 1st in BSc (Hons) Psychology and recently completed my MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology at Warwick University which included a 6-month NHS placement in Perinatal Mental Health as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist. My eventual goal is to apply for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology once I have a significant level of research and clinical experience. Through both voluntary and paid work, I have gained experience interacting with individuals from a range of backgrounds; including residents of a care home experiencing dementia, individuals being treated for substance misuse, children with SEN and with in-patients at a psychiatric hospital. These roles have enabled me to gain insight into the lived experiences of these individuals, their needs and their interactions with mental health services.
