About Francesca Rivello

I am Francesca, originally from Italy and since 2013 happily based in the Netherlands. With a strong technical background, including an MSc in Nanotechnology and a PhD in Biotechnology, I am passionate about technical innovations that accelerate the transition towards a sustainable future. In my role as Investment Manager Climate Tech at BOM, I focus on investing in early-stage ventures, supporting founders in scaling their solutions, and connecting them with the right partners and investors. I bring a sharp, independent approach, a strong sense for strategy, and careful attention to detail. Beyond work, I am a proud mother of three boys, passionate about cooking (and eating!) and always eager to learn, from wine making and food pairing to new languages. I am known for being ambitious, determined, and social, and I enjoy building meaningful collaborations that bring ideas to life.
