About Francesco Facchini

Francesco Facchini since 2015 and so far, was Adjunct Professor of industrial Logistics for degree course in engineering of the logistic system in food field. Managed by the Department of Agrarian Sciences - University of Foggia. His fields of research include the Sustainable Logistic, the environmental assessment in workplaces, and the air pollutant dispersion modelling in indoor industrial work environment. In 2014 was designated Safety Manager (RSPP) in Department of Mechanical, Mathematical and Management of the Technical University in Bari. In same Department, he is the Technical contact person of "Industrial Systems Engineering" Laboratory. In 2013 he earned the Phd degree in “Safety management, organizational models and Innovation in Production Processes” - XXVI cycle (SSD ING/IND 17). From 2012 he submitted many scientific works, in particular his papers are published in Special Issue Springer and in different International Conference as: “International Federation of Automatic Control”, “European Modeling & Simulation Symposium”, “International Workshop on Innovation for Logistics”, and Summer School “F. Turco” in Industrial Mechanical Plants. From 2011 he teaches and supports the teaching activities for the degree courses in Management Engineering (II level) of Technical University in Bari and in Science and Management of Maritime Activities in Taranto's Petty Officer Academy. In 2014 he teaches “Project Management” and “Forecast Demand Analysis” in Master course: “Product and Operations manager”. In 2010 he graduated in Management Engineering – curriculum “Environmental and Business Management” of Technical University in Bari. In the same year he qualifies to take the Professional Engineer From 2001 to 2006 he worked as Mechanical Technician and from 2006 to 2011 he was designated Hazardous Waste Manager in Department of the Chemistry of the University of Bari. In the same years the workers elected him as Workers' Safety Representative (RLS).
