Laureato magistrale in Gestione e Sviluppo Sostenibile dei Sistemi Rurali Mediterranei e dottore di ricerca del corso Biodiversità, Agricoltura e Ambiente, presso l'Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro, con una tesi di dottorato in "Sostenibilità della mandorlicoltura ad altissima densità". Assegnista di ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Scienze del Suolo, della Pianta e degli Alimenti, settore Arboricoltura generale e Coltivazioni arboree. Il focus della ricerca è sui nuovi sistemi arborei innovativi, con l'obiettivo di incrementare la sostenibilità dei nuovi frutteti, attraverso lo studio delle attuali tecniche colturali, come la scelta della cultivar o combinazione d'innesto, la corretta gestione idrica e nutritiva, e la valutazione di colture arboree alternative adatte alle nuove situazioni agro-climatiche e fitosanitarie. Associate editor per l'EJHS (European Journal of Horticultural Science) e reviewer per varie riviste (es. Frontiers in Plant Science). Iscritto all'albo dei dottori Agronomi e dottori Forestali della provincia di Bari. Consulente tecnico-scientifico per la rivista Foglie. Consigliere dell'ARPTRA (Associazione Regionale Pugliese di Tecnici e Ricercatori in Agricoltura). Sono aperto a collaborazioni tecnico-scientifiche che possano portare reale miglioramento nel settore agro-industriale- Master's degree in Management and Sustainable Development of Mediterranean Rural Systems and a Ph.D. in Biodiversity, Agriculture, and Environment, from the University of Bari Aldo Moro, with a doctoral thesis on 'Sustainability of Ultra-High-Density Almond Cultivation.' Research fellow at the Department of Soil, Plant and Food Sciences, specializing in fruit tree crops. The focus of the research is on innovative new growing systems, with the aim of increasing the sustainability of new orchards through the study of current cultivation techniques, such as the choice of cultivar or grafting combination, proper water and nutrient management, and the evaluation of alternative fruit crops suitable for new agro-climatic and phytosanitary conditions. Associate editor for the EJHS (European Journal of Horticultural Science) and reviewer for various journals (e.g, Frontiers in Plant Science). Registered in the Order of Agronomists and of the province of Bari. Technical-scientific consultant for the magazine Foglie. Council member of ARPTRA (Regional Association of Apulian Technicians and Researchers in Agriculture). I am open to technical-scientific collaborations that can bring real improvements in the agro-industrial sector.
