About Francesco Prelorenzo

Having graduated from the University of Pretoria with an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, I joined EY Johannesburg to begin my training contract in pursuit of my CA (SA) designation. After completing my first year at EY, I was offered a position to complete my traineeship in London with Deloitte as part of a pioneering SAICA program. This opportunity allowed me to qualify as a CA (SA) while gaining invaluable international experience. I worked within Deloitte London's Core Private Markets division, which focuses on large private companies, private equity houses, private equity-backed businesses, and family offices. My client base spanned various industries, with the largest concentration in Infrastructure and Real Estate. I am currently the Head of Investments at Proseed Capital, a Real Estate Investment firm. I work closely with the company founders, serving as the primary contact for all transactional matters, where I source, underwrite, and execute real estate investment opportunities to facilitate corporate growth and profitability.
