About Francesco Simonelli

I am a Mechanical Engineer and I have been working for more than 30 years in the EMEA region of Whirlpool Corporation, the number one major appliances manufacturer in the world. Since Mid 2014, following Whirlpool’s acquisition and merging with the Indesit Company, I’m taking part at the integration process, including product and platforms consolidation, business processes re-design and organisational merging. I covered multiple positions, up to being appointed Sr. Manager (Italian Dirigente) in different roles. I have a strong background about Industrial Engineering and Product Costing. One of my strongest point is re-designing of processes and organisations, which I have applied all over my work experiences. I’ve been always recognized as a result oriented leader and talent coach. The different roles brought me working in Italy, Poland (2 years expatriate), Germany, as well as South Africa, USA, Brazil, and China.
