About Francesco Tedone

I am an energetic and dynamic person with a sound understanding of mechanical and aerospace engineering. I completed my Master Degree course in Aerospace Engineering and undertook my Master Degree Thesis during an internship at General Electric Oil & Gas, where I further developed my knowledge and experience of high performance turbomachinery and of rotordynamic stability. In my previous role as stress Engineer at Ekes Engineering – Rolls Royce, my analysis work has been a part of Certification Program for the purpose of Entry into Service of Trent XWB 97 K jet engine. As System and Test Engineer at Leonardo - Platform Power and System, my work covered a wide range of tasks starting from the design definition, going through the validation and qualification tests and following the production steps. Furthermore, I have been the contact point with the customers during the project reviews carried out at the main project’s milestones. In my role as System Architect at Magneti Marelli R&D Systems Engineer department, I am involved on the definition of System Architectures for Instrument Panel Clusters projects, thinking and acting interdisciplinary considering different aspects as for Hardware, Software and Mechanics components and functional behaviour. What drives and inspires me is the passion for engineering and a willingness to work in a field where advanced technologies are applied, in adapting rapidly to new challenges in understanding new technical problems and in building relationships at all levels to ensure successful project outcomes.
