About Francis Bee

I have over eleven years of successful work experience with Government, local and INGOs in the Public Health sector specifically Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programs in both development and emergency programs. I have led the implementation of WASH programs across diverse communities and healthcare facilities increasing access to improved WASH Services and reducing open defecation and other harmful behavioral practices in vulnerable communities. I played a vital role in the fight against Ebola in my country by helping to coordinate health education and promotional activities at the community and district level; led surveillance programs, built capacities of healthcare workers in infection, prevention and control and led safe & dignified burial teams for Ebola victims reducing the risk of the virus infection. I am a team player with excellent skills in community engagement and stakeholders management. I am highly interested in public health policies, implementation and health systems strengthening to meet the health needs of desperately needed communities. In addition to my academic achievements in Public Health and Environmental Health studies, I have built my skills in areas such as Community Engagement and Sustainability, Coordination, Project Planning, Report writing, Training and Facilitation skills, Baseline studies, Programing and Team leadership.Generally, I have a grassroot and managerial understanding in the field of Public Health and the prevention of diseases in low income settings.
