About Francis Brisson

I spent the large majority of my career in finance with increased interests for and focus on strategic planning, service and transformation. I worked in complex, demanding and fast pace environments of high visibility and interest, and led many horizontal transformative efforts to strengthen organizational goals and operations. I have learned through my experiences that the best way to demonstrate true leadership and being successful at it is by inspiring and motivating employees through bold thinking, and by giving them opportunities to feel empowered. I strongly believe in employee engagement as the driving force behind any organization’s successes. I’m a strategic thinker that strives and encourages others to understand all crucial elements and how they interact with one another. I’m committed, and I support and empower others to work at the highest possible standards. I try to always face challenges with a positive and problem-solving attitude, and I believe in setting the tone for others to see and emulate. Moving forward in my career, I want to continue building on my accomplishments with openness and flexibility and continuously look for ways to do things better and smarter. I want to continue supporting the government’s commitment to better serve Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast, and help public service organizations put people first with agility, humility and innovations.
