I am a transportation professional holding a State Certification as a School Bus Driver Instructor. My experience encompasses a range of sectors, including livery, trucking, motorcoach and school bus transportation industries. Through my experience, I have developed a detail-oriented approach and have gained a reputation for being easy-going and approachable by my coworkers. I am currently responsible for overseeing and facilitating training sessions for existing school bus drivers as needed throughout the year. This role involves providing comprehensive instruction on all aspects of their training and development, while ensuring that they maintain a high level of proficiency in operating school buses of various sizes. Furthermore, I ensure that all drivers' credentials and training comply with or exceed the minimum requirements established by the state. Additionally, I ensure that the drivers possess proficiency in utilizing specialized equipment, such as wheelchair lifts and booster seat installations, and are well-informed about operating buses powered by various fuel sources, including Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), gasoline, and electric.
