I have a degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Baruch College, where I learned how to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders. I also have over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, where I worked as a supervisor and a head server at IPIC Entertainment, a leading provider of luxury entertainment and dining experiences. As a supervisor, I organized the workflow and ensured that more than 180 employees understood their duties and delegated tasks. I also adhered to company policies and procedures and undertook proper disciplinary actions if needed. I provided quality service by training 75 employees on company standards and values. I also controlled expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions. As a head server, I aided the restaurant to operate by ensuring that the wait staff were properly equipped with the proper procedure to service guests. I also input 150 guest orders in our point-of-sale system daily and resolved customer complaints. I have developed skills in accountability coaching, leadership consulting, and strategic planning facilitation, which I believe are valuable for any organization that aims to achieve excellence and innovation. I am passionate about creating positive and memorable experiences for customers and employees alike, and I enjoy working with diverse and dynamic teams.
