About Francisco Avila

Hey! I’m Francisco, a certified translator based in Montreal, with over 25 years of experience, including 12 years (and counting) at one of Canada’s largest banks. I also hold a degree in IT Law. I’m not a practicing lawyer, but I stay active in conversations around AI governance and privacy, writing to stay sharp, stay mindful, and help others make sense of what’s coming. I combine my background in language, law, and tech to help companies in the AI governance/compliance space communicate clearly and build trust. I co-write content that’s clear, concise, and tailored for the right audience, whether it’s a LinkedIn post, an educational email course, or a long-form newsletter. And I help automate that content (in English, Spanish, or French) through email sequences and lead nurturing strategies that drive engagement. Open to collaborations, not looking for a full-time role.
