About Francisco Marques

As a Junior Officer in the Portuguese Navy, I started my career on a Portuguese Frigate where I’m Deck Officer and my main role is to conduct operations and safe navigation on the bridge while at sea, and part of Navigation Team on harbour. After seven years in the navy, five in Naval Academy and two onboard of a ship with several national and international deployments, with a bridge team of 8, I’ve been developing my ability on team management, conflict resolution, stress management, priorities management, and risk management. This path on Navy also gave me adaptability, discipline, sense of responsibility and have been strengthening my leadership skills. To endorse the skills Navy provided me and helped me to develop I have been reinforcing my knowledge on HR management and Data Analysis.
