As the General Manager of Cesup Compras e Contratações, the specialized procurement center of Banco do Brasil, I have been leading the transformation of the purchasing processes and practices for the entire organization since March 2019. With over 18 years of experience in the banking industry, I have developed a strong expertise in commercial banking, management, and legal affairs, as well as a passion for innovation and technology. I´ve accomplished leader driving large-scale transformation in procurement and supplier management and I am currently leading teams managing $52B+ in spend at Banco do Brasil, with important and sustainable achievements: a) Delivered $500M+ savings in 2023 fiscal by optimizing source-to-pay processes across all categories. b) Forged partnerships with 4K+ domestic and global suppliers, centralizing spend. c) Championed AI adoption via in-house learnding programs and mentorship upskilling junior collaborators; d) Cut contracting cycles by 50% over 3 years through new manuals and standards. e) Influenced long-term procurement strategy as member of senior executive leadership. I do so with firm passion on enabling collaborators to grow and develop the skills needed to advance their career, by providing coaching and mentorship to team members; creating development programs focused on hard and soft skills and opening doors for others by sharing my experience and insights.
