About Franck Rose

Physicist | Engineer | R&D project Lead Nanotechnology | Material Science | Coatings | Surface Science | MEMS/NEMS | Self-assembly I am a PhD in physics specialized in surface and materials sciences. Since 1996 I've pursued an international career as a researcher in nanotechnology in France, Germany, Japan and the USA (noticeably at the University of Tokyo and the University of California at Berkeley, and at Hitachi HGST/Western Digital in the Silicon Valley in California). I have a long record as an independent and creative thinker and as a scientific leader who can start, establish, and sustain productive research projects in various fields such as thin films growth, nanofabrication and surface characterization. Today, my objective is to contribute to R&D and manufacturing teams that innovate through unconventional R&D efforts and deliver technological solutions that are embraced both in manufacturing and in the marketplace.
