About Franco Capurro-Soler

My passion is to support bold founders building high-growth, impact-driven companies and to help them to scale their vision by providing capital, insights, and connections. My journey as a founder took me to co-found Banverde, one of Mexico’s leading financing platform for rooftop solar and battery storage developers. Here we provide expert support and capital to create lending facilities so our development partners can access recurrent capital to finance their projects and focus on growing their companies. Then I co-founded Inspira, a real estate development company focused on combining inspiring people, places and experiences in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur. We aim to make the land ownership journey as seamless as possible so our friends and future friends can join in our little paradise in Todos Santos, Mexico. Previously I cofounded Vida Capital, a regulated real estate fund in Portugal focused on sustainable hotels and branded residences. I also served as the CEO of OneKey Ventures, representing Larrain Vial’s USD $4.2bn mining and energy assets portfolio in China for M&A and project finance transactions. Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked as a financial consultant for Banco Santander and BBVA in Peru, Colombia, and Spain, and strategy consultant for tech companies in China and the US. The work my partners and I have done has led me to be recognized as 40 under 40 by Renewable Energy World and be featured in the Financial Times, Forbes, NBC News, Entrepreneur.com, Bloomberg, CNN, and be was a speaker at the United Nations’ energy conference in Mexico. I was lucky to attend a Master of Science in Management at Babson College and study a Bachelor in Business and Economics at Universidad de Chile. These opportunities made a massive difference in my journey, I owe that to my loving parents.
