Responsible for the proper receipt, labeling, storage of FDA regulatory samples, chemicals and reagents in the laboratory as well as maintaining all pertinent records for chain of custody verification and legal integrity. Re-organized warehouse storage shelving and floor space to increase usable area and the ability to place and locate all evidence/samples in a more efficient manner. Collected FDA directives, regulations and procedures that pertain to the Sample Room and developed a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) binder for the Sample Room personnel. Selected to provide Sample Room position and function input for the FDA’s new computer software program as well as designated to test the pilot program and provide feedback to enhance the end user product. Responsible for providing staff support in a variety of administrative management services to an Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) district office with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Purchase office supplies, furniture, equipment, and services. Conduct analyses of clerical and administrative procedures and program support issues; evaluates the effectiveness of clerical and administrative operations; makes recommendations to improve office operations. Serve as training coordinator. Manages mail room operations as well as develop policies and procedures for local records management program and conducts periodic records reviews.
