About Franco Peracchi
Franco Peracchi is a Professor Emeritus at Tor Vergata University of Rome, a Fellow of the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF), an Elected Fellow of the International Association for Applied Econometrics (IAAE), and a Fellow of the Journal of Econometrics. He holds a MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the LSE and a PhD in Economics from Princeton University, and taught at UCLA, NYU, University of Udine, D'Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara, Bocconi University, University Carlos of Madrid, Princeton University, and Georgetown University. His research interests include econometric theory, labor and health economics, and the economics of social security and pensions. His current research areas include the long-term effects of growing up in wartime, cognitive decline among the elderly, distribution regression, and approaches to model uncertainty.
