About Frank Deckert

As Mechanical Engineer I made my experiences in the Automobil Industry. Manufacturing Engineering for the Moving Assembly Line and CI-Manager for In-Plant Material Handling gave me the Opportunity to see and understand the Total Cost Picture of the Production Flow. Facilitating Trainings for Lean Application of Time Measurement based on Value Stream Mapping and all the other Continuous Improvement Tools give me a multi-cultural Background working with People. Learning and applying Hoshin Kanri Thinking doing strategical work from the top to make Plans transparent and measurable put all the CI-Tools in a complete System together. I am a Believer in behavioral Lean: Work with the People to improve continuously Processes to get better Results. For this I am developing myself continuously in Psychology, Talking Patterns and interactive Workshop Facilitation. Putting Psychology, Biochemicals and Lean Principles together is my big Advantage to do structured Problem Solving and logical Plan-Do-Check-Act getting People involved and committed. Transforming "Wrong Lean" thinking about the WHAT, Results only, Into the "Behavioral Lean" Thinking concentrating on the WHY and HOW to get the WHAT is my Core Driver. Define the right Improvement Priorities for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost with the corresponding Leading Indicators is Key for sustainable Success. That is my Way being a Lean thinking and acting Manager and Business Partner LEAN-Communication is my way to facilitate and manage the Progress from a Plan to real change.
