From hands-on craftsmanship to HR leadership, my career has been defined by adaptability, perseverance, and a passion for developing people and processes.I began in the hardwood flooring industry, where I learned the value of precision, hard work, and pride in creating beautiful, lasting results. Co-founding a small flooring business gave me firsthand experience in operations, planning, and financial management. When the 2009 economic downturn forced us to close, I pivoted into manufacturing with determination.Starting as a temp associate in 2010, I quickly advanced through three assembler roles, becoming a team coordinator and then production supervisor—all within five years. I led production teams with a focus on safety, performance, and individual growth, consistently driving results and fostering a culture of accountability. During this time, I also served as an internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards, deepening my understanding of quality systems and compliance in a manufacturing environment.Recognizing my strengths in team development and operational insight, I was invited into HR nearly four years ago as a Training Supervisor. In this role, I expanded my expertise in customer relations and employee onboarding. I delivered safety training via LMS and PowerPoint, collaborated closely with the HR team, and introduced impactful programs including:A buddy system to support new hires during their first 90 daysA “Train the Trainer” course to elevate internal teaching standardsRobust tracking of training progress through LMS and ADP systemsIn addition to my HR responsibilities, I also filled in for 10 months as an Environmental Coordinator—gaining valuable experience in environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.I thrive at the intersection of operations and people—building systems that empower teams, improve safety, and drive long-term success.
