About Frank Duron
I started in aerospace back in 1996 for a communication satellite division subsidiary company of McDonald Douglas as a wire harness assembler. After three years, I continued to stay in that field but moved up to an actuator assembler then to hydraulic test technician. I kept that role for years before joining the research and development department as an engineering test technician where I performed test on prototype and new production products. These test involved vibration, fatigue, endurance, temperature variation and acceleration. I was required to keep accurate records of all test results, including failure analysis and photos for my test report. I then moved to a flight line mechanic before becoming a flight test technician level 3. Products I've worked on include Airbuss, Boeing, Sykorski, Cessna, Embraer and Dessault.
