About Frank Graeff

CRIMES OF THE CENTURY is my long-anticipated, joyfully engaging musical comedy (at least in my opinion!). Decades in the making, this passion project began as a tiny spark in my senior year of high school — lo those many years ago- and has since aged gracefully through multiple decades, several hairstyles, and one retirement. At long last, I’ve unleashed it upon the world, living proof that some concepts, like bootleg gin and seasoned character actors, benefit enormously from patience, if not procrastination! While this is my debut as a musical playwright, I’m no stranger to the stage. In my earlier years, I was an active theatre performer, treading the boards with enthusiasm, questionable dance precision, and a firm belief that projection solves most problems. More recently, I’ve returned to acting at regional theatres, now with slightly better timing and prayers my knees will hold up. CRIMES OF THE CENTURY may not resolve whether crime pays or not, but royalties from a long-running, financially viable run definitely will!
