About Frank Jacoby

I am a highly motivated, resourceful individual who takes great pride in continuing to be part of a highly successful School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology (SCAFT) team in the Technological University Dublin. My involvement in the hospitality industry for fifty years is testament to my life’s experience and commitment to this exciting and ever changing high-tech and service based profession.Thirty years of learning and teaching experience within the SCAFT has provided me with invaluable skills and academic qualifications that have been integral to the facilitation of learners across a wide variety of third-level under-graduate and post-graduate programmes. I consider this industry, and teaching and learning experience to have been particularly beneficial, as it has further enabled me with a desirable flexibility and disposition that is advantageous to students, work colleagues, and industry specialists alike. Most specifically, my ‘team-player’ orientation will continue to underpin the work of the SCAFT as we strive to achieve both critical student learning outcomes and measurable key skills development in an efficient, responsive, proactive, and sustainable manner.I look forward to our continued growth and development as we embark upon a new chapter here within our new Grangegorman Campus. Is leo siúd dhéanan ullmhúchán an todhchaí
