Controller at a Buckeye State Bank a commercial community bank serving the Toledo and Columbus Ohio Metropolitan area. I am in charge of the accounting apparatus for the firm. My duties are but not limited to lead month end close, GL and Corporate account reconciliations, manage accounts payable, manage fixed assets, lead regulatory/ external reporting, lead serviced loan reporting, bond and securities reporting, and lead branch operations audits. Prior to BSB I spent a good amount of time at JP Morgan Chase. I was an Associate Controller supporting JP Morgan Chase Servicing & Default Operations, providing monthly / quarterly reporting, and project management. I also worked within Public & Corporate Accounting, responsible for various tax preparation, audit engagements, and daily general ledger reconciliations and reports. I am detailed oriented and very analytical which enables me to have the foresight to minimize risk. Prior to JPMC & BSB, I served as a Financial Controller for Collins & Company and a staff accountant for Card Palmer Sibbison & Company.
