About Frank Lovas
After my PhD research at the University of California Berkeley in 1967, I spent two years as a postdoc at the Freie Universitat Berlin in the Physics Department with Prof. Thoms Torring. These studies employed a high temperature microwave spectrometer and were focused on Group diatomic halides and Group IV/VI diatomics. In 1970 I began work at NBS (later renamed NIST) in the Molecular Spectroscopy Section. A summary of the microwave studies carried out at NBS/NIST can be found in the Journal of Reseach of NIST Vol. 117, 268 (2012)[http://dx.doi/10.6028/jres.117.016]. This publication as well as more than 250 publication can be downloaded from Research Gate.
