With over 24 years of executive leadership experience, I've led various portfolios within the Teljoy Group, including CEO roles at Teljoy Energy and Hard Hat Equipment Hire, overseeing teams of up to 80 staff and managing significant levels of turnover annually. My background in law, coupled with a Global Executive Development Programme from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, brings a unique blend of legal acumen and business insight. In multiple roles, including on the Teljoy Group Board, as GM for Shared Services, and directing IT, Legal, and Strategy functions, I've provided strategic direction across diverse areas. My expertise spans the spectrum of business management and leadership, encompassing strategic planning, legal affairs, HR, IT, project management, financial oversight and operational experience where I’ve provided leadership and hands-on expertise in optimising efficiencies across multiple divisions. My operational prowess extends beyond routine management tasks having provided direction and leadership at every stage of a business across multiple businesses and industries including leading turnaround strategies, restructuring funding mechanisms, successfully navigating start-ups and acquisitions, optimizing operations and establishing formal operational structures to revitalize underperforming divisions. As a trusted advisor, I've streamlined processes and resolved complex business dynamics, whether in negotiations, mergers, or litigation. I've structured and executed M&A transactions, management buyouts, and disposals, and negotiated and managed contracts, always maximizing value and efficiency. Currently CEO of Hard Hat Equipment Hire, I've navigated challenges including the Covid lockdown and post-Covid market shifts, driving profitability and strategic growth.
