About Frank Ring
I’m a fitness author, high school teacher, and former cross-country coach who discovered the life-changing power of walking after a serious back injury and the loss of his mother in 2016. What began as physical and emotional rehabilitation turned into a lifelong mission: helping others improve their health one step at a time. I’m the founder of WalkingforHealthandFitness.com and the author of several books, including Walking for Health and Fitness, Walking Inspiration, Fitness Walking and Bodyweight Exercises, and The Walking Logbook Journal. My newest book, Walking Works Blueprint, is a 14-day plan to build a walking habit, reduce anxiety, and manage weight naturally. I’ve created a series of walking programs designed to inspire and empower individuals to get off the couch, step outside, and reclaim their health one stride at a time.
