Starting my career over 25+ years ago as mechanical draftsman I've since then developed to the level of senior mechanical engineer. Knowledge gained by engineering practice in various types of industries, primarily in development projects. To solve engineering problems I make use of proven technology I've worked with in the past and try to adopt it as solution to the problem I'm working on. If known technology doesn't fit, I challenge myself to come up with a creative or innovative solution. This solution should be as simple and cost effective as possible. The data I prepare and use to solve the problem and produce the solution should also be usable and supportive to related departments within the company. First try to understand the big picture and then put the problem(s) in the right perspective before starting to solve it in a design. Every industry has its own characteristics but hardly any industry needs to reinvent the wheel. Main experience: Chip industries Front-end and back-end, Wind turbines, Large pictures sealing industry, Textile preparation/conditioning industry, Food industry. Specialties: 3D CAD experience (since 1993) Mainly Solidworks (10 years) and Pro-Engineer (8 years). One Space Designer and AutoCAD. PDM experience: Solidworks PDM Enterprice (5 years) as administrator, Smarteam, Pro-PDM.
