With over two decades of experience, I serve as Receiver, Counsel to Receiver, and Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors and handle litigation matters and workouts on behalf of creditors in Illinois, Michigan and New York. Perez v Farid Fata, Michigan Hematology-Oncology, PC, et al. – I was federally appointed to serve as assignee for the benefit of creditors in the liquidation of a prominent Michigan medical practice encompassing 4 businesses run by Dr. Farid Fata. During this complex case, I established a claims process, handling hundreds of claims and coordinating with various state and federal agencies, while winding down the businesses, preserving assets across six locations, and arranging a refund exceeding $15 million from unopened inventory. Comerica Bank v Arcadia Services, Inc, et al. – My team and I were recognized by the Turnaround Management Association for the "Small Company Transaction of The Year" in June 2019 for our work in this case involving a national, employee nursing staffing company, showcasing our capability in handling complex receivership scenarios.
