About Frank Wang

I am a passionate civil engineering student at McGill University. McGill's civil engineering program has allowed me to learn and practice my problem-solving skills, leadership, and project coordination. While at McGill, I participated in the McGill Rocket team. This experience allows me to experience firsthand how an engineering project operates. I also enhanced my skills with software such as NX, and AutoCAD. In addition to the technical skills, there were other challenges such as budgeting, coordinating with other sub teams, managing the project schedule, and assuring a smooth and up-to-standard project result. My employment at IKEA has also allowed me to develop customer communication, service delivery, and teamwork skills. As a coworker, I developed extensive knowledge of how to handle customer inquiries and find a suitable solution for any problem efficiently. I am eager to continue my journey in civil engineering and enhance my skills through my academic stay at McGill. I also look forward to applying my theoretical knowledge to real-life engineering problems.
