As a seasoned law enforcement and security professional in the U.S. Navy, I've gained a wealth of diverse experiences over my 19-year career. I began my naval career in Washington State, protecting a nuclear weapon storage facility and ballistic missile submarines. This role taught me the importance of stringent security protocols and maintaining high standards of vigilance and professionalism. Following this assignment, I transitioned to a patrol officer position, serving in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Okinawa, Japan. There, I built on my security expertise, mastering conflict de-escalation, weapon handling, handcuffing, and conducting personnel and property searches while upholding the Uniform Code of Military Justice. My career progressed as I took on the role of Watch Commander in New Jersey, Sicily, Italy, and California. These diverse locations helped me hone my leadership, decision-making, and incident management skills, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and influence. Most recently, as an executive protection agent, I've had the privilege of safeguarding high-profile individuals and sensitive assets. This role has allowed me to integrate my law enforcement background with specialized security protocols, enhancing my ability to anticipate and mitigate potential threats. I've conducted thorough risk assessments, planned and executed secure travel routes, and coordinated with multiple security agencies to ensure seamless protection operations. My experience includes managing international security details and handling high-pressure situations with discretion and professionalism. In my current role as a Leading Petty Officer, I have fully embraced servant leadership, striving to foster a culture of excellence and accountability. My leadership has driven the personal and professional development of my Sailors and peers, resulting in numerous promotions and commendations. I take pride in mentoring and coaching individuals, ensuring they receive the recognition they deserve for their exceptional performance. Additionally, I have overseen the full qualification of multiple work centers, ensuring all personnel are trained to the highest standards and that operations run smoothly and efficiently. My efforts have significantly improved the operational readiness and mission success rates of our units.
