Background
About Frans Robert
While studying in Latvia for two years, Frans engaged in several music projects. Starting out as a journalist for The Baltic Scene, he became the manager of two Latvian bands ('The Coco'nuts' and 'The Pink Elephant'). At the same time, he approached the people of 'Ezera Skanas' asking if he could work with them. The collaboration went so well that Frans became one of the organizers himself until today. Currently, Frans moved back to Belgium and got involved in the music and arts scene, continuing working as a production officer at BOZAR, Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels. He also was responsible for the art programmation at Deep in the Woods, a music festival that invokes a connection between different regions in Belgium (Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels), inspired to create an environment where people could come together and reconnect with nature. His personal projects include the organisation of Nature Concert Hall (Dabas Koncertzale) in Belgium.
