About Frans Roux

I am a Certified Internal Auditor and Chartered Accountant with 13 years of experience in assurance, financial governance, and consulting services. Nine of which were in internal audit and four in external audit across small and large organizations. I have experience in Financial, Operational, and IT audits plus Fraud Investigations. My career started in assurance and consulting services at Middel and Partners, working in various industries across Southern Africa. In 2013 I moved to financial management at Foce Property investment group. After my time in financial management, I returned to assurance services as Group Internal Auditor at Brenner Brands Group, which at that stage fell under the Steinhoff International Group. In 2017 I moved to Qatar in the Middle East as Senior Internal Auditor at Hamad Medical Corporation. I would describe myself as a spontaneous and friendly person. I have a passion for the profession. I am confident, self-motivated, and have a strong personality with good interpersonal and communication skills. I can work under pressure and reach my goals. I enjoy working independently or leading and working in a team. One of my core strengths is maintaining a positive attitude, and I believe that it broadens open-mindedness and builds long-lasting personal resources and abilities within teams.
