About Frans Spiering
I am a physicist with a background in optics and laser spectroscopy. I recently obtained my PhD-degree. During my PhD studies I looked mainly at the absorption and scattering by molecular oxygen. As the scattering and absorption are quite small, I made use cavity ring-down spectroscopy. The obtained results are then compared with theoretical models. Currently, I am looking for a new challenge in (commercial) R&D, preferable in the field of optics and/or laser technology.
