About Frans Storc

Over the past 20+ years my carrier has helped me gain a very unique set of Project Manage skills. From my time spent in the US Air Force to my current position within Siemens Energy, I continue to fine tune my Project Management skills. As a US Air Force F-16 crew chief I learned about the importance of teamwork and paying attention to details. As an Orbiter Vehicle Quality Control Inspector I became very familiar with processes, procedures and requirements. In 1998 I left Quality and kick started my career in Engineering. As an Orbiter Structures Engineer I faced many complex tasks. During this time I learned how to think on my feet and that you can’t always make everyone happy. During this portion of my career I refined my technical writing skills, learned about the importance of clear and concise communication. As a Structural Engineering I received 2 promotions, first as a vehicle lead, then as a Systems Specialist. As a Systems Specialist I had to conceive, develop, and evaluate plans and criteria for solving complex technical problems requiring unconventional approaches. As a Project Engineer with Siemens I have learned how to combine my life’s experience to becoming a better Project Manager by obtaining a PMI and Siemens PMP certifications.
