About Franz Babida

Welcome! My name is Franz Babida. I've started my journey with Business Administration in both Accounting and Marketing. I have greatly enjoyed my experiences in both fields through different venues including my experience as an entry level junior accountant however a major shift have happened. I later found myself not able to tolerate being confined in one space despite my love and interest with business. After deeper reflection and consideration I have found my personality and my interpersonal skills along with my curiosity in health & science will do well with Nursing. After battling through becoming a student once more after several years of graduating from Business Program, I was successful in becoming a Registered Practical Nurse with CNO. I am grateful for being part of the Cardio-Pulmonary Medicine Unit of Lakeridge Health Oshawa and having the opportunity to learn more about the intricacies and expectations of the heart by certification of Coronary Care 1 through Durham College. As of September 2024, I have decided to pursue my education in becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) through the Bachelor of Arts & Science as the first step of my RN journey. I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge and education that I may have the ability to provide a wholistic care to those in need and extend my knowledge to others.
