About Franziska Koefer
As part of my PhD journey I collaborate with a team of researchers as well as the European Investment Bank to investigate the potential of technological and financial innovation to increase the efficiency of the inclusive finance sector, through the identification and promotion of best practices. My interests lie in the field of microeconomics (investigation of how people make decisions). In particular, the way existing social stratification influences behaviours and processes on how social and financial resources are distributed within organizations including data-driven processes, ie FinTechs, Microfinance Organizations or large Corporates. These practices can re-produce inequalities in the way value and financial resources are distributed to the population.
