About Fraser Li

My name is Fraser, which was chosen by my N.E.T teacher in secondary school and it means “bravery”. Working experience: I've been a journalist in Hong Kong Economic Times for about 8 years. I covered tech and corporate news for most of the time and conducted interviews with the CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CXOs, e.g. Google, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei, etc. I'm quite familiar with the global tech trends, especially the most advanced B2B technologies, e.g. quantum computing, software-defined (SDN) everything, IoT, 5G, AI.(Cloud Computing is common and not as advanced as before) as well as its business applications. I'm also familiar with the local startup community, e.g. the startups in Science Park, and Cyberport, especially in the FinTech stream. I wrote articles in the technology field in a professional way, and I've been interviewing with different local and international business owners, investors, CEOs, e.g. Ricky Wong Wai-kay CEO of HKTVmall, John Tsang Chun-wahformer Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, Antony Leung Kam-chungformer Financial Secretary of Hong Kong,Niklas Zennström (co-founder of Skype), Andy Jassy (CEO of Amazon Web Services), Chuck Robbins (CEO of Cisco). Moreover, I 'm able to take video shooting and edit by myself. I have been to the most well known exhibitions e.g. Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona (Spain) and Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas (US) for several times before. I took photos, videos on the new products and exhibitions and edit it by myself. Hobbies & Experience: I like communication, especially working as a team, and strike a balance on the workload of different team members in order maximize the benefits of division of labour. I'm also a vocalist in a a local music band, a cycling lover as well as an horoscope enthusiast. Future career: I'm looking forward to having new challenges and I want to be more influential to the readers who are feeling annoyed by the mainstream news and help them to explore the new and most advanced, cutting-edge technologies.
