About Fraser Rose

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with and learning from many exceptional people. These experiences have significantly shaped how I approach challenges and opportunities in the workplace. I bring a wealth of practical experience and a deep understanding of team dynamics, leadership, and operational excellence. A substantial portion of my career has been dedicated to managing multiple retail sales locations, all while leading and contributing to a variety of key projects. I was responsible for recruiting top talent, onboarding, and training new employees. Mentoring employees into well-rounded, high-performing individuals. I consistently utilized a variety of sourcing tools to attract and retain quality candidates, utilizing social media outlets and word-of-mouth referrals. This approach allowed me to maintain a strong success rate throughout the recruitment and training cycle, from initial outreach to long-term employee development. To further support the success of my recruitment efforts, I proactively enrolled in and completed courses in Graphic Design and Digital Marketing. These programs equipped me with valuable skills in content creation and audience engagement, enabling me to design compelling postings that assisted in the increased attention of qualified applicants. Later in my career, I further enhanced these strategies while overseeing recruitment, training, and development efforts, with much of the communication and coordination shifting to remote platforms, requiring me to adapt my approach for continued success. One of the key attributes I’ve developed throughout my career is strong time management. I was responsible for overseeing multiple store locations as the sole Manager, Mentor, Trainer, and Recruiter. At the time, I was also maintaining a role as a Training Lead throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Adding another layer to my responsibilities, I was also selected to mentor emerging leaders from all over Canada. While balancing these duties was challenging at first, I developed and refined effective time management strategies that allowed me to consistently deliver strong results across all responsibilities. My primary core belief is the importance of continuous learning, whether through personal experience, the experiences of others, or through positive and constructive feedback. I view every opportunity as a chance to grow, adapt, and improve. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation of skills and attributes that I believe position me well to contribute meaningfully to any team I’m part of.
