Hello, I'm Frauke - Lead Digital Product Designer with a focus on strategic UX/UI design, usability engineering, and digital product development. In my current position, I'm responsible for digital product design in a regulated MedTech environment. As the central interface between product management, development, and design, I lead international design processes across teams and departments, successfully translating complex requirements into user-centered, regulatory-compliant, and technically viable solutions. I combine deep technical understanding with in-depth knowledge of human-centered design (ISO 9241-210), regulatory usability (IEC 62366-1), and a special sense of aesthetics, creative problem-solving, and well-thought-out user experiences. My strength lies in sustainably embedding design quality within the company through modular design systems, structured design processes, and cross-team collaboration. I think in an interdisciplinary, analytical, and user-centric way, meaningfully combining design, product strategy, technology, and creative intuition with the goal of ensuring maximum user satisfaction and safety. In addition to my corporate role, I teach UX strategy, design methodology, and digital design at IU International University, supervise bachelor's theses, and design practical, didactically sound teaching formats. I am currently developing and integrating AI-supported UX tools, from GPT-based research and content systems to AI-assisted UI/UX design. My goal is to make development processes more efficient (design-to-code), scale design solutions, and systematically ensure aesthetic consistency.
