Nine years of on site experience at the Suncor Firebag location comes with amazing experience in both technical and leadership disciplines. As a contractor on the tools from 2011 to 2014 I experienced the true safety culture of Suncor. This is a culture I continue to lead in my personal and professional life. In 2014 onboarding to Suncor as a maintenance planner gave me some insight to how the organization has matured. I quickly realized that I wanted to grow and develop my skills as a professional and continue to contribute to Suncor. in 2016 I was selected for a team lead role and have been supporting various leadership roles ever since. Planning and Scheduling offers cross functional exposure to the entire end to end maintenance process. From Turnarounds, to maintenance scheduling, planning, and reliability strategy, execution, regulatory requirements, heavy supply chain exposure, and even some operations knowledge. Teaching and learning everyday, is both challenging and rewarding as I continue to develop as a professional and a leader.
