About Fred Amankwaa

I am currently a fourth-year Business student with a concentration in Information Systems at Carleton University, where I have developed a strong foundation in data analysis and manipulation tools and languages such as SQL, Power BI, and Tableau; as well as IT infrastructure and its applications in various business contexts. I have a strong background in technical analysis and project management through co-op roles with Employment and Social Development Canada, where I worked on automation projects, conducted results and bug analysis, and documented findings. At the Canadian Coast Guard, I supported shipbuilding and vessel projects by analyzing and documenting stakeholder requirements and evaluating 3D scan data. My time as a systems analyst intern at Mackenzie Investments allowed me to further strengthen my skills in technical process validation and root cause analysis. I am eager to apply my knowledge and experience to future roles in technical analysis, information technology and security, and other similar roles. With a strong passion for technology and a keen interest in IT, I am seeking a full-time role at a company that fosters growth, challenges my skills, and allows me to contribute meaningfully while continuing to learn and develop.
