About Fred di Blasio

Fred is advancing economic Reconciliation in Canada by bringing capital and First Nations together in mutually-beneficial partnerships. Drawing on deep experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, marketing, and corporate development Fred co-founded Longhouse Capital Partners in late 2022 with the mission of advancing Reconciliation and Indigenous economic self-determination while delivering superior risk-adjusted returns to investors. As the firm’s CEO and Managing Partner, he works with the Longhouse team to identify capital projects and businesses within Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities and pair them with capital, providing the strategic advisory services necessary for those projects to succeed for the long-term. Prior to launching Longhouse Fred was Executive Vice President of Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation, where he led business development and partnerships supporting economic growth for the Squamish Nation. He is an experienced executive with a proven track record at AT & T, TELUS and INVIDI Technologies ($300M exit), and graduated from the University of Cambridge. A respected media commentator and speaker, Fred’s insight have been sought by BNN, The Globe & Mail - Report on Business, Report on Business Magazine, the Toronto Star and the National Post. Fred is a proud member of the Huron-Wendat Nation.
