About Fred Kicsak

I would summarize myself as a hardworking, strong willed person of high moral, ethical, and spiritual principles and values. I believe in good business and professionalism. I am driven by purpose. I want to know at the end of the day that I made a positive difference in someone's life. In the multifamily industry we are; care givers, stewards, teachers, followers and much more. We have a great effect on our customers, employees, vendor partners, and anyone who sees us interacting during the course of our duties. I would always hope that I can help bring out the best in the people I work with and in turn I know they will bring out the best in me. My objective has always been to be happy at what I do. I love this industry. It is not a job for me, it is an extension of me. I want to work for a company that mirrors my values and is an organization I can proudly state; “I am a part of”. Many years ago my company (Blue Ridge) introduced me to a wonderful philosophy by a man named Jim Collins. He is the author of the book “Good to Great”. The basic premise of the work is that good is the enemy of great. Many of us settle for good and never make the transition to great. I love the idea that we haven’t arrived yet to that place where we can no longer learn, grow, evolve, and achieve. I hope I can always show humility and see where I can become better and have the strength and courage to make the journey. I want to be able to also instill this passion in the people I work with, to look into their eyes and see the potential and show them that I believe in them and help them to achieve success. Many of my work objectives are also my home life objectives. I measure success by having a full balanced life and creating relationships that last a lifetime.
