Drove selection, training and implementation of software based performance review and talent management tools creating first time ability for group and P&L leadership teams to conduct organizational talent reviews by business unit, location, department, function, or individual. • Acquisition/Integration – Created standardized HR due diligence methodology streamlining assessment and integration of new companies. Conducted and lead numerous complex due diligence engagements (largest two acquisitions were $246m and $425m). Latter acquisition had 2200 employees operating in 11 countries in North America, UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia/Pacific. Post P&S reduced EMEA position elimination cost exposure by negotiating (in person) individual separation packages, eliminating local employment councils (TUPE, etc.) or other in-country employment courts, saving ~$4m+ in exposed liability. During one four-year period managed HR due diligence analysis and integration of three large entities with no incremental spend to HR budget/forecast. Interoperability with new acquisitions achieved ahead of schedule in all cases. • Benefits – Consolidated seven separate North American Health & Welfare models to one platform enabling greater cost controls, market competitiveness, and benefit plan standardization (aggregated savings >$2m first year with significant overall plan enhancements). • HR Regulatory Compliance, Policy, & Standardization – Developed and implemented an integrated suite of North American H.R. Policies & Procedures with corresponding Employee Handbook and Managers Training Program (designed to initiate culture change, improve DoL compliance, minimize litigation, and facilitate one company branding & consistency for a group of previously independently branded and multi-state operated companies).
