About Fred Scripture

Graduate of the ETT Electrical, sound and communication training programs. I became a journeyman in electrical and sound/communications then a foreman and ran work crews from 6 people up to 50 people with multiple shifts. From 18-26yrs old I installed conduits, raceways,120vac panels, lights, outlets and building management systems for commercial buildings, parking structures, parking management systems, cctv systems, access control systems for prisons, jails, police stations and more. This is also where I learned to install telecommunication (structured data systems), fiber optical installation, termination and testing. At 26yrs old I was given an opportunity to work in the AV and broadcast industry as a technician where I learned AV and broadcast installations, terminations, testing and some system programming, commissioning, engineering,designs and rigging of large speaker arrays, clusters, video walls, etc. At 29yrs old I took a leap of faith started my own system integration company with a partner where I learned sales, estimating, project management, operations management. At this time I took many seminars on business management and most importantly people management. From that point on I've started and sold several AV Sytem companies until I decided to take a break and become an employee so I can focus on other opportunities that have come into my life. No matter what position I decide to take at work I believe you shall respect everyone, I will lead unless asked to follow, I will work smart, work hard and always listen. You never know what you will learn next. Never stop learing or training and pass that knowledge to the next generation.
